Confessions was originally produced as a soap opera for the internet. As a website, the Confessions soap earned critical praise and fans in 22 countries around the world who logged on daily to follow the experiences of the ensemble cast drawn from the Cine Paris Repertory Company.
The show is set in the fictional community of Briarwood, where California's most famous and affluent citizens make their homes. The list of characters includes a Supreme Court justice's daughter, her amoral husband who is vying for a seat in the U.S. Senate, and any number of people who can tie the two of them to the murder of an undercover police officer.
Produced by Cine Paris, the series was originally launched as a web soap opera where the intricately-woven storylines were developed and expanded in the website's online newspaper -- The Daily Breeze. These stories then played out in the series. Kathi not only wrote and directed half of the shows in the series, but contributed half of the newspaper articles for The Daily Breeze.
