The Jerry Fairfax Show stars Michael Chanslor in the title role of Jerry, a show-biz personality who almost made it in the '80's but retreated to do a drive-time radio show in Indiana. Now, with three failed marriages and a failing Arbitron rating behind him, Jerry has returned to Southern California to launch his television comeback. Jerry gives his all to the show, but the technical limitations of the studio in which he is forced to operate sabotage the show at every turn.

Kathi plays Audrey, Jerry's girlfriend who has "showbiz" aspirations of her own and takes advantage of every opportunity to showcase her singing abililty, including interrupting Jerry's show. It's a marriage made in heaven ... or hell, depending upon your viewpoint.
