Confessions is centered around the beautiful Madonna Hewitt (played by Kathi), daughter of a Supreme Court Justice. She is married to a corrupt attorney, Preston Hewitt, who is making a run for the U.S. Senate and is merely using her and her familly's connections to get what he wants. Her involvement in and/or knowledge of the murder of an undercover police officer puts her elevated position in the affluent community of Briarwood -- and indeed, her life -- in jeopardy.
Produced by Cine Paris, the series was originally launched as a web soap opera where the intricately-woven storylines were developed and expanded in the website's online newspaper -- The Daily Breeze. These stories then played out in the series. Kathi is not only the "icon" and star of the series, but was featured in over 45 newspaper articles written about the series which were published all over the country.
